Dr. Huddleston began his journey into plastic surgery by obtaining a bachelor’s degree at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. His next step was attending and graduating from medical school at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis. After that, he headed out of the state, traveling to Ohio, where he completed his residency in plastic surgery at the Case Western Reserve University Affiliated Hospital in Cleveland.

Dr. Huddleston grew up in Johnson City, Tennessee, and knew all along that he wanted to return to his roots to begin his medical practice. Along with his wife and three children, Dr. Huddleston settled in East Tennessee, and for over 22 years, he has maintained a successful practice in Kingsport where he helps his patients boost their self-esteem and gain a different outlook on life. 

Dr. Huddleston is continually staying up-to-date with the current trends and education associated with Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Tennessee. He teaches at the Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University (ETSU) as a Clinical Professor of Surgery. He desires to share his knowledge and expertise with upcoming surgeons so that the residents of East Tennessee will always have excellent medical care in their hometown.

Dr. Huddleston understands the importance of maintaining professional certification and currently holds membership in The American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. In addition to those professional organizations, he is a Fellow at The American College of Surgeons and is affiliated with The Tennessee American Medical Association and the Sullivan County Medical Society.
